Journey with William Optics

My first encounter with William Optics began in 2016 with a black ZenithStar 110, a TMB designed air spaced triplet. It was not only my first William Optics telescope, but also the instrument that lifted my passion for astrophotography to a new level.

What started as a curious look at the night sky soon turned into a journey filled with nights where technology and emotion blended together: the soft click of the focuser, the first clear image of a distant galaxy, the quiet excitement when a new detail appears.

When I began sharing my photos on social media, something unexpected happened. William Yang himself noticed my images. From the first message grew an exchange, and in 2018 a true friendship began.

One of the most unforgettable moments came when I was allowed to test the very first RedCat 51 in Europe. I still remember holding it in my hands, serial number 007, knowing it was the first of its kind on the continent. That small but powerful telescope became a symbol of trust, innovation, and the joy of discovery.

Since then, I have had the privilege of testing many William Optics optics under some of the best skies in Europe. Every test and every night under the stars reminds me why I started this path: because a good telescope does more than collect light. It collects moments, memories, and inspiration.

My journey with William Optics continues to this day, and every new optic adds another chapter to the story.
